State Rep. Donni Steele (R-Orion Township) today announced that the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Local Transportation would meet on July 30 at Macomb Community College. Steele, who chairs the committee, said the committee would hear from the following speakers:

• Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association
• Michigan Aggregates Association
• Southeast Michigan Council of Governments
• Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel and Deputy Executive John Paul Rea
• Shelby Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis

The committee will also feature Macomb County Drain Commissioner Candice Miller as a special guest. Reporters, press, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

The committee will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 30, in the Community Hall of the Lorenzo Cultural Center on Macomb Community College Center Campus, located at 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
